ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Hello lovely people, my name is Shelly Ann Fung and I'm passionate about young people knowing Christ and building a relationship with Him. As a young lady, in this world I have seen the things young people go through on a daily basis. From things such as how society tells us to dress or think, the battles we face daily, temptation, emotional and physical challenges we go through and even the pressures we get from our peers. Having been through a lot of experiences whilst at University and just in life, I decided to start blogging to share the lessons I have learnt with people around me. I am very enthusiastic with working with  young women and empowering them to know that their worth is in Christ alone and that they are very precious in God's eyes. Reminding them that they do not need man's approval to validate their worth or their purpose.

So just in case you are wondering why I choose the name ''My Journals, My Journey'', I decided to use this name, as I wanted to share pages of my journal with you, about my journey with Christ. A spiritual journey that leads to becoming more like Christ each and every day. Being conformed in His image and thinking and acting the way  He does. I know that some of you have started your journey with Christ and I encourage you to remain strong, keeping your eyes fixed on the Lord. My prayer is that you will all continue to remain steadfast and not grow weary of being on this journey with Christ. Below are some encouraging scriptures that you can meditate on. God bless you :)

The Fruits of The Holy Spirit
Galatians 5:22-23-But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

Hearts of Humility
Philippians 2:3-4-Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.

Imitators of Christ
Ephesians 5:1-Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.

Royal Priesthood
1 Peter 2:9-But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

Love and blessings
Shelly
